Any participant can command
the line to cease-fire if a dangerous situation arises that the
leaders do not see.

Do NOT take a hit with a
loaded musket.

Do NOT fix bayonet unless
ordered to do so.

Never draw a rammer on the
field.

Nobody will participate in an
action without a full canteen of water.

No weapons will be discharged
without clearance from an NCO or officer who will take care to warn
the camp or spectators.

No participant will engage in
hand-to-hand combat on the field, unless prearranged and
choreographed by the commanders on each side.

All line guns are to be
percussion type muskets.

Absolutely NO live rounds
will be carried onto the field by any participant.

No modern guns or knives will
be carried into an event.

Drunkenness, substance abuse,
or possession of controlled substances will not be tolerated.

Only officers are allowed to
carry pistols.

No swords, cutlasses, bowie
knives or other edged weapons (other than bayonets) shall be carried
by a participant of the line infantry. Officers and senior NCOs may
carry the appropriate period sabers.

Participants who use, or have
used, their guns for live fire MUST inform their company commander
upon arrival at the event. These guns must under go a thorough
inspection to ensure that the muzzle is free of lead particles.
